Review and Giveaway: Tealok and Tea Tidy from Brix Designs

Just before Christmas I got a goodie box from Brix Design.
Filled with all kinds of gadgets and tools for the kitchen.
I'll be telling you all about my new toys over the next month or so, as I get them out and play with them.
They're from a company called Brix Design  and they make the best toys for the home kitchen.  Actually, they're more than toys, they're well designed, well thought out, useful gadgets anyone can use and enjoy.

I've told you about the Jarkey before.  I've bought and handed out lots of them to friends, cause I thought they were one of the better gadgets out there.   You can read about it here.

Let me get to the first review.  All the opinions are my own.

I love to drink hot tea in the winter.  It just seems to go with the cooler weather.  And in my goodie box I found these, Tea Tidy's.
A little handy dandy saucer with a spot to put the used tea bag.  I don't always make a pot of tea, a lot of time I just want one cup, right now, and I get impatient waiting for it to steep. I'll carry the cup up to my office, and then I have the tea bag to dispose of.
Not anymore.  All I have to do is put it in the little well in the saucer on the Tea Tidy and I'm good to go.  Plus... I have a saucer to put my cup on.  No more tea rings on my nice little desk.  (the box has two Tea Tidy's in it, you can have your lovely Oolong tea and your friend can have some green tea or whatever they like.
But wait, there's more.
I sometimes succumb to wanting a single cup of coffee in the afternoon, I don't want to make a whole pot of coffee for just one cup.   I use a 'coffee bag', make a cup and voila, I've got a cup of fresh coffee.
And the little tea saucer works well for that too.  I just take out my used coffee bag, put it in the saucer and drink my fresh coffee.

In the goodie box were also some  Tealock's  and   Coffeelock's   The little Tea Spoon was perfect for scooping out just the right amount of loose tea from my Jasmine Tea can.  And the fastener was perfect to close the bag my Oolong tea came in.
And as I was looking at the fastener for the Tea, I found out that the spoon slides right off, and you can use it by itself.
But I'm leaving it on the fastener for now.  This way I know where it is, it's holding the Oolong tea bag closed.
I haven't used the Coffeelock, but it works on the same principal that the TeaLock does.

But wait...
There's more, I'm doing my first giveaway.   Brix Design was generous enough that they sent me extras' so it became a one for me and one for some lucky person.
One of my lucky readers - US only! - can enter to win theseThe Giveaway runs from January 12th till January 16th.  The colors may vary from the picture.
