It's that time again.
First Monday Favorites and I want to know what one recipe you made last month that surprised, delighted and amazed you?
Not the one with the most views, but your own personal favorite.
I've not been doing a whole lot of new recipes, I've been concentrating on a cookbook which I hope to have out by next month, showcasing my own personal Danish favorite recipes.
That being said, I did make a few new dishes.
And I'm torn between two.
I made a Rullepølse last month, which is a rolled sausage, and I've been enjoying it ever since. I actually sliced and froze it, so I can have it whenever I want. You have no idea how much I've been enjoying it.
I also made another dish from my past. A Blackberry Jam Trifle. It was really good for dessert and almost better for breakfast the next couple of days.
I had to flip a coin... I found a nickle, and flipped it.
Heads was the Rullepølse, and tails was the Trifle.
Heads won...
Rullepølse it is.
What one recipe did you make last month that surprised, delighted and amazed you? I want to know.

ReplyDeletelooking forward to your cookbook news!
It is. I love both of them. And I'll be announcing the cookbook as soon as I release it. It will be a self published book via Amazon for now. I'm also going to do a limited printing for some people who'd like to have actual books to take into the kitchen with them.
