Boat Club for December

Whew, another month gone, well, another Boat Club done.   Just kidding.   As usual, lots and lots and lots of great food, and the company, it was pretty good as well.

And here's the food;

We had Appetizers...

 Taquito's, always a popular item
Chili Dip, and it was good.
 Spinach Artichoke Dip, very nice.

And some,
Corned Beef and Cabbage, and I noticed it didn't hang around long.

I made a French Onion Pot Roast, and I'll tell you all about how to make that later on.

And I also made some more No Knead Bread,
I just can't resist making it.  So easy and yet so good.

Salad with Feta Cheese and all kinds of good stuff.

There was this Pasta Bake, and you know I got some of that.

Stromboli, which reminds me, I need to make some again, soon.
Greek Beans, and I managed to get a shot of it before it got served, doesn't it look pretty?
Potatoes, and I put some of the Pot Roast on top of one of them, and it was good.
More Pasta, and I did taste some, cause I have trouble leaving pasta alone.
This was, I think, a Cranberry salad.  All I know is, I liked it.

And then there were the desserts, and there were a lot of them.   And they were all good.
 Brownies, always a popular item
Chocolate dipped Strawberries, don't they look yummy.   I was watching people, and they were loving it.  Something about the richness of chocolate and the freshness of fruit, always a great combo.
Hummingbird Bundt Cake.   Something I had never tried until I moved south, and really, I need to make one again.  It's been awhile since I made one.   (Note to self, must make soon).  got it.
Apple Pies, and Roberta used my recipe for the crusts,  and pointed out a mistake I made in posting the recipe. whoops.  It has now been corrected, so if you want to make it, feel free.
Lemon Meringue Pie, and look at the cute little nilla wafers around the edges.
Meringues.   You gotta believe I ate a couple of them.  It's been years since I've had one and really, I've been thinking I wanted to make some soon, but now my craving has diminished, a little.
And yet another cake, and I'm sorry I was so full, I didn't not get a chance to taste it.   But it looked good.

So there you have it, the round up of great foods we got to eat last night.   Don'tcha wish you lived down here?  Just kidding.   But we do have some great cooks, bakers and all round wonderful people who live here and the variety of foods that are made and shared each month, well, let me just say this, I'm going to continue to share.  Well, the pictures at the very least.
