Tailgating Recipes, Part 4

Last one, well, maybe unless of course I think of a few more ideas.
I might.

I'm really big on making something at home and bringing it with me to any gathering.   Sometimes I want to serve something warm and other times not.

I've been known to fuss and fiddle with food, and other times, I just want to bring something that's dead easy to put together.
Really, I do sometimes make easy peasy type stuff.

Chicken Jalapeno Rollups

As for easy to put together, these are easy and tasty and disappeared fast when I made them.

Sausage Rolls

You know, these are good anytime.  And I don't feel like waiting any longer to make them again.

Just need some sausage...

Ham and Cheese Rollups

I've been making these for years and years and years, and I've never taken any back home after an event.  They're great finger food, and I've even seen people 'smoosh' them inside of rolls.  They're just plain good.

Seeded Crackers

I started making these a few months ago and I haven't stopped yet.
I don't like most crackers, they're full of stuff I can't even pronounce and they just don't taste good.
But these...
They taste great, are easy to make, and actually stay crisp and fresh tasting, so long as they're in a little plastic tub.  And keeping crackers crisp is almost impossible here in the humid south.

I love spinach and gee it goes so well in both these...
Spanakopita Bites

Spanakopita Crescents
And one of my all time faves...
Marge's 'Egg Rolls'

It's been a long time since I've made these, but I think I need to make them again.

Hmmm, Tapas Night is coming up...
I think I have an idea.

I'm sure I've got lots more recipes that would lend themselves well to tailgating parties, but it's time for me to get back into the kitchen and start creating more goodies.

I'm sure I'll be invited somewhere soon so I'll have an excuse to make something new.

  2. Thanks I appreciate that. I'm all about food that's easy to make and bring with me to parties. Whether it's an impromptu get together or something more formal. I love finger food anyways.
