Boat Club for December 2016

Can you believe it's already December, and not only that we're only a few days from CHRISTMAS?

Me neither.

We attended the monthly Boat Club potluck last night and had a great time.  As usual.
There was a very light turnout, but that's OK, sometimes the volume of food that's brought is so overwhelming that it's YIKES!! How do you taste it all?  Never mind getting pictures of it all.

I got to taste almost everything last night.  Although I did leave the dessert table alone.
I was too full...

I made a little Christmas Tree out of my Herbed Cheese Spread along with some of my homemade crackers.    I'll tell you how I made the little Christmas tree tomorrow.
Herb Cheese Spread with Home Made Crackers

We had some lovely Brie Cheese, Crackers and Apples.  (and pardon the blurry picture.

There was some Dressing in a very pretty bowl.
Which went nicely with the Pork Chops and Chicken
And then there was Pasta. well Mac and Cheese, don't tell anyone but I had seconds.

And  had seconds here as well.   This was a Moussaka.  First time I'd ever tried it, and I think I need to make some for myself.    I didn't get a picture of it before but I think you can see the Christmas tree on it.
There was also a pot of Chile and as usual, my camera made it look a lot redder.
There were also some lovely baked Yams.
And now for the Desserts.
A Berry Crisp or Cobbler, which looked like a Berry Cobbler topped with Nuts
A Pecan Pie
Some Cookies, which disappeared quickly.
And another Cobbler, I believe it was a Peach Cobbler
Well, that's it for this month.

Gotta go put up some decorations for Saturday, cause we're doing our Grinch Christmas Tapas Night then.
