Christmas Baking, a little late?

Just wanted to share a few words and a couple of recipes.

Actually, I've shared these recipes before, but I'm just now getting around to making them.

sigh

It's been a busy month, and it's not because I've not been cooking or making stuff, but I just haven't taken a day to bake.

Apart from making my fruitcake (part one and part two) a couple of months ago and a couple of batches of cookies earlier.

OK, so I have been baking, but all of that is gone now, a dim and sweet memory.

So, today I'm going to make a couple of recipes, the ones I can make from memory, but I have them written down, just in case.

I'm making a batch of French Waffles, and then putting together a batch of Home Made Caramels,

and as a finale, I'm making Klejner.

OK, so I baked the French Waffles yesterday and mixed up the dough for the Klejner, which I will be making later on today.   I used some turbinado sugar on the French Waffles and they came out well.

I got behind myself.

So, please excuse me, but I've got a date with a Frydaddy.   And some Klejner in a few minutes.

Coming up a little later, some ideas on what to do with that Turkey carcass.

I'm just full of ideas.
