First Monday Favorites June 2017 - 6

It's time for First Monday Favorites.
This is the time I ask fellow bloggers to stop on by and add a link to their favorite recipe that they made last month.
Not the one that got the most views, although that's always nice, but the one recipe that they made that amazed, delighted and totally blew them away.

As usual, I'm torn.  I made some Kammerjunkere, which is a rusk, kinda like a biscotti in that it is twice baked.  I made them for the Improv Cooking Challenge.  And they went so well with the Raspberry Soup I made for  Soup Saturday Swappers.

I served them together at Tapas last month, and they were a hit.
Raspberry Soup and Kammerjunkere
I had to go with the Raspberry Soup.  I had to.  Cause I'm so making this again.   It's the perfect vehicle for using up that last glass of white wine that got left, in the bottle.
Hey, it happens...
What one recipe did you make last month that amazed, delighted and blew you away?   Go ahead and link it up here.

    1. Thanks, I'm thinking of trying some red wine the next time I make this, and am also keeping an eye out for great deals on raspberries here. I think 4.69 is too much for less than 6 oz. of berries. Oh for the good old days when I could just run down to the raspberry patch and pick my fill.

  2. Raspberry Soup ... yum. I will have to wait a while for summer to roll around bringing with it some Raspberries.
Thanks for hosting another great First Monday Favorites edition. Everything looks great.

    2. I wish there was a way to edit the replies, I had to delete and then try again. Thanks so much for stopping by and adding your recipe. I made this with frozen raspberries, mainly because the fresh were too darn expensive, but I don't think it made much of a difference.

    1. You can always start with the first glass of wine from the bottle. That's what I did, then I had to, umm, finish the bottle. The soup was excellent though and I will be making this again. Thanks for stopping by and linking up.

  4. I don't think I've ever heard of Raspberry Soup and I'm definitely intrigued. Raspberries are the best part of summer. :)

    1. I agree, they are the best part. And while I never get tired of just eating them fresh, this soup is a lovely way of using up some raspberries. Thanks so much for stopping by and linking up.
