Countdown Day Three to the Virtual Tapas Time Party

The Virtual Tapas Time Party is starting on Saturday and I can't wait to see what my blogger friends are making for the party from my newest cookbook, Nibbles and Bites - A compilation of Appetizers, Canapés and Finger Foods.

We have a Tapas Time Party most months  and I love to make and serve appetizers.
In this book I've compiled just a few of my favorites.  Most of them are easy to make and serve, and best of all, not only do they taste great but many of them can be made for last minutes parties, using items from your pantry.

I thought that this weekend would be a great time to really introduce the book, as Tailgate season is starting and many of the recipes from the book can be made and brought to any gathering.
Hummus is one of my pantry staple items.  I've always got at least one, if not more cans of chickpeas sitting on a shelf, waiting for the magic to happen, along with some Tahini of course.  I've made everything from Curried Carrot Hummus, page 32 in the book.

to Chocolate Hummus on page 44

with a few flavor profiles in between.
Tarteletter shells on page 137, are a little bit different.

You can put everything from savory to sweet in these little bites.  Or if you just want something already filled, and fun,  these Corn Dog Muffins would work..  You can find them on page 126.

And now we come to another lovely blogger, Sally,  who has graciously agreed to,  not only make a recipe from my book, but will also bring her offering to my Virtual Tapas Time Party on Saturday, September 1st.   Her blog is Bewitching Kitchen
I can't wait to see what Sally makes.  Her blog is filled with lovely food, and I've been know to make recipes from it or just drool over some it as well.  You need to go and look there too. I've got a bucket list of foods and recipes from there that I want to try.  Sally used to be part of the Secret Recipe Club as well, and I've always enjoyed looking at her foods.  Bewitching Kitchen

Stop on by tomorrow and I'll introduce you to Colleen.  Her blog is gorgeous as well.  It's called
