The Virtual Tapas Time Party is starting on Saturday and I can't wait to see what my blogger friends are making for the party from my newest cookbook, Nibbles and Bites - A compilation of Appetizers, Canapés and Finger Foods.
We have a Tapas Time Party most months and I make a lot of appetizers, and in this book I've compiled just a few of my favorites. Most of them are easy to make and serve, and best of all, not only do they taste great but many of them can be made for last minutes parties, using items from your pantry.
I thought that this weekend would be a great time to really introduce the book, as Tailgate season is starting and many of the recipes from the book can be made and brought to any gathering.
I'm thinking Wings here, and I've got some great recipes for them. From Asian Style wings, page 85
to my Chutney Wings, page 87
If you're into seafood, how about a few shrimp recipes? From Cameron Entero Mojo page 96
to Shrimp Burger Bites or even Blackened Mango Shrimp, page 98
Some of my favorite food people are participating so visit their sites as they post recipes, host Nibbles and Bites giveaways, and help celebrate with me.
Let me introduce them one at a time over the next few days.
Wendy of A Day in The Life on the Farm
She is the instigator for Soup Saturday Swappers as well as Fish Friday Foodies, both groups are ones I participate in most months. I first got to know her through a now defunct group called the Secret Recipe Club. We used to make and post recipes from an assigned blog each month and had to keep it a secret until our reveal day.
She has an incredible blog and participates in a lot of food related events online.
Wendy will also be doing a giveaway for the book, Nibbles and Bites.
Stop on by tomorrow and I'll tell you about Sally of Bewitching Kitchen
In the meantime, check out Wendy's blog.
You can buy the books online at the following.
Nibbles and Bites - A Compilation of Appetizers, Canapes and Finger Foods. Available both in book form and as an ebook.
My cookbook Hygge - Danish Food and Recipes would be a great gift for any foodies in your life. Available as a Kindle e book or in paperback. Autographed copies are also available at the Danish Windmill in Elk Horn, Iowa or on their website.
